Ha! I can’t see this movie as I’m chicken shit but that comment about aging being disgusting and the audience agreeing took my breath away. Seriously? Is birth disgusting? I guess it is but that is called being human. What is disgusting is war and guns and all violence. Racism and sexism and ageism. Good for you giving this feedback. I adore younger people but guess what- you’re going to get old and then you’ll die. If you’re lucky. No fillers will change that.

HAH, you know that's right. I wouldn't be scared though it is kind of Cronenberg-style intense.

I just watched this masterpiece of a movie at 36 years old, and I loved everything about it. I don't think you need to be 50+ to enjoy and understand Demi Moore's character's perspective because I can already relate! This is the society we live in, and the movie reflects and highlights the experience of being a woman, regardless of age. This is exemplified in the scene where Sue goes through the same procedure as Elizabeth. If one can't understand the message of this movie, it's not due to inexperience but ignorance. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I just wanted to add that not every millennial is oblivious :)

Oh I'm sure you aren't! What I wrote was a review of a review, not about the film itself. You'd have to read that first to get where I was coming from. Thanks so much for taking the time!

Yes I understood that your comment was about the review, my comment was also targeting that review not yours :) English is not my first language so, sorry if I couldn't made that clear!

That's OK—I totally get it! Thanks so much for reading. The movie was so intense yet necessary, right? That scene you mentioned was a doozy.

I’m still thinking about it! When we screened our film for the investors and producers, one commented on a close up where you see the lines in my non-Botoxed lead actress’s face. They were like, whoa, that’s brave. And I was like, isn’t it great?

Vivian, you are so right; you can’t send in a ‘kid’ to reflect on the road a more mature woman travels. Brava!
